Beekeeping has been in the family for generations, in fact all the way back to 1936 when family members moved to Falher, Alberta. And while our ambition was modest – to bring pure, all-natural honey to our family’s table – it only took a taste for us to know it deserved to be shared.
Sugar was scarce in the pristine Smoky River Region of northwestern Alberta during World War II, and it wasn’t long before this sweet nectar began popping up in cupboards and pantries throughout the area, where our healthy, premium nectar is still made to this day. Up here, clean air and sunshine create a perfect microclimate for nature to weave her magic into some of the purest, sweetest honey you’ll ever taste.
Today, more than 75 years since the world was first introduced to our golden sweetener, Wolfe’s Honey is made the same way it’s always been made – with all-natural goodness and an unwavering commitment to quality, from our family to yours.
